UPDATE: The current version of Divi allows you to change the Footer bar text in the Customizer > Footer. I made a short video update on that functionality here.
Divi Booster also has a nifty setting in their Footer settings that allows you to easily insert the copyright symbol and current year with shortcode, so I like using that feature too. Tutorial here.
The Divi Theme is by far my favorite WordPress theme, and with every update it becomes more and more easily configurable and customizable. One piece of the theme that remains uneditable through the theme customizer or settings is the footer.
So, if you don’t want ‘Designed by Elegant Themes | Powered by Divi” as your footer text, or you want to change it to be a copyright, you’ll need to edit the footer.php file. We highly recommend you create a child theme first, and then edit the footer.php file in that, so your changes aren’t wiped out when you update your theme.
The following video shows you where to go to edit the footer.php file in your WordPress Dashboard without needing FTP or SFTP access to your website files. In this video we are editing the parent theme, which again, isn’t recommended.
Fabulous, what a webpage it is! This blog presents helpful information to us, keep it up.
