While I was in theater for LOTS of years and have performed on stage in front of thousands of people, this was my first time giving a professional talk in the website design industry / WordPress community. I was so excited today when I saw a tweet coming from the @WordPressTV account with a link to a freshly posted video of the talk I gave on Tightening Up Your Process for Shorter Timelines and Happier Clients. It’s pretty cool to have my own speaker page on WordPress.tv too 🙂

I got to watch the video today, and might I say… it really did go as well as I thought! The presentation contained a lot of myself – watching this video will show you my personality, give you insight into how I run my business and deal with clients, tell you about some mistakes I don’t usually go around shouting about, etc. It contains 8 actionable pieces of advice that could change how you manage your projects / clients. It is over half an hour in duration, but if you build websites for money, it’s worth the time. I know I’m biased, but man is it a good talk.
