recommended. One of the great things about the Christy Wright Business Boutique is that the speakers lay it all out for you. It doesn’t matter what your background or current business status might be, you can expect to receive sound advice and perhaps even a good kick in the butt. We participated in the Nashville event last fall as attendees and left full of excitement and ideas which we were able to start implementing as soon as we returned home. Because of that experience, Hooked On Code made the decision to join the Christy’s Connections and the Business Boutique events as a sponsor for 2017.

Our very first event was January 31st in Irvine, CA! So much pre work went into this first event. I mean, where do you even start?? We knew we needed to keep these Business Boutique women in mind. After all, the women we had talked to in Nashville were the reason we would be expanding our services. What were their needs? How could we help them achieve these dreams and goals that were so near to their hearts? 
We reached out to everyone we could think of and based on that feedback, a new venture was formed. We knew we needed to update our look so Torre met with our amazing graphic designer and together they created an unforgettable new logo. We are so in love with our little pink elephant!!! We added color and life into our website, created gigantic new banners, and looked for ways to celebrate these women who would be coming to us for their website creations. So many amazing things have come from this new venture, and we are just getting started.
Now we know that a “one size fits all” approach would never work for such a unique and diverse group of women so we have created new services to better fit those needs. We designed a website creation course for all of our crafty women who have more time than funds and who want to be 100% involved in the creation side of their online presence. We know these people exist not just because we have requests for similar options all the time, but also because we are built the same way.
At Hooked On Code, we love to get our hands dirty so to speak, and we get excited when we see a new idea come to life through a kick-ass website.
